In July 2025, the SEM Council voted overwhelmingly in favor of bringing our proposed SEM bylaws amendment to a general membership vote during the SEM general elections in 2026. In other words, SEM members will soon be voting on divesting from Israeli apartheid and genocide and supporting the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement. See “Our Campaign” for more details.
